My latest piece "The Erskine Moseleum"
Maple Hill cemetery ~~

Russel Erskine (January 24, 1871 – July 1, 1933) was born in Huntsville, Alabama, he worked in a number of manufacturing industries before joining the Studebaker motor car manufacturing in 1911.
He served as Studebaker's president from 1915 until the firm encountered severe financial problems in 1933, when he committed suicide.

I grew up hearing the story of a young woman that was brutally murdered on the Erskine mausoleum steps. She was discovered with her blood spattered about, although the blood has been cleaned, eventually it always reappears. When one shines light in just the right angle on the front of the structure at night a black angel appears.
